AutoPure Homocysteine 25

(R1 1 X 20ml: R2 1 X 5 ml) from Accurex. Homocysteine 25 Reagent is used for quantitative determination of L-homocysteine in human serum and plasma on automated clinical chemistry analyzers.

AutoPure Homocysteine 25 Reagent is a ready-to-use, two liquid reagent system & With AutoPure Homocysteine, the assay is linear up to 50 umol/l. Homocysteine can be used on various automated analyzers. Homocysteine Reagent kit should be stored at 2-8°C and is stable till the expiry date.

• With AutoPure Homocysteine, the assay is linear up to 50 umol/l. AutoPure Homocysteine can be used on various automated analyzers. The procedure described below is for Sphera auto-analyzer.

Principle :

• For in vitro diagnostic use.
• Do not pipette by mouth.
• Human material used in the preparation of this product has been tested and found nonreactive for the presence of HBsAg, HCV and antibody to HIV 1/2. However, all human based products should still be handled in accordance with good laboratory practices using appropriate precautions to avoid transmission of any infectious diseases.
• Do not use the calibrator after the expiration date printed on the box.
• Sodium azide has been added to the calibrators as an anti bacterial agent. Sodium azide may react with lead and cop per plumbing to form potentially explosive metal azide buildup.

Procedure :

The calibrators should be used to analyze patient samples in accordance with the instructions outlined in Accurex Homocysteine Reagent package insert. Refer to the instrument manufacturer’s recommendation for calibration frequency.
