Liquid Magnesium is a ready-to-use, single liquid reagent system & Magnesium can be determined in just 5 minutes at 37°C. The Magnesium Reagent kit should be stored at 2- 8°C & is stable till the expiry date indicated.
Magnesium ions react with xylidyl blue in an alkaline medium to form purple coloured complex. The intensity of the purple color is directly proportional to the concentration of magnesium in the specimen.
